Scott Shaffer from Blade Technologies came to the lab on Monday to deal with the virus situation. He said that Norton on the server is updated and running fine. What we will have to do is be sure that Live Update runs on all client machines.
He set up a workaround to print to the HP LJ 4000 and was unable to identify the permission problem. To set up the printer on all lab computers, please do the following: 1) Login as administrator 2) add the printer and give all users access (do not set it as the default printer) - install the HP 4000 PCL driver 3) Logoff 4) Login as tyfc 5) Add the printer again. That should enable printing from the tyfc account to the HP LJ 4000.
