Printer for Sherieff and Saladin

JB: Please find (in the tech room) a printer that we can take to S and S's new house. I prefer the Canon's so if you can find one of those, that would be best. They'll also need decent ink cartridges and a parallel cable. It's probably a good idea to bring the drivers on a CD since they may not have net access set up yet. I have their new phone number so let me know when you have it ready.

Check Spare

JB: Please check the spare that was returned from WordPro and make 100% certain that it is a fully functional spare including all the games that Tonya requires and full (black and white) printing capability.

Lab Printing

JB: Please keep working on enabling printing in the lab. The item below about printing was marked "Done", but the lab computers still cannot print so I have marked it "ToDo". Please call me if the printing problems are not solved by the end of the day Friday. ~Sue

SB (and JB if possible): Go to their house and get Internet working.

GIS

JB: Please get the essential ESRI products installed on the 2 new computers, the one on the lab and the one in the board room. I also need to start researching GPS units, so please let me know if you have any information from your notes from the GIS training at Wash U. Also, confirm with me that you will be attending the training this Sat.

Laptop that doesn't power up

JB: When you take the spare to WordPro to have XP installed, take the broken laptop and its power supply with you and have them test it.

Lab computer spare

JB: Make sure the spare is set up and running XP by the end of this week. Also test all games and be sure the configuration is identical to the other lab computers.

Printing

Sue will order a new print server today. The local stores did not have one.
Update: 13-Oct-2004 Sue had WordPro test the print server. It was indeed bad and will be replaced b y Tuesday at the latest. JB: Please install it as soon as the replacement arrives.

Printer ink

JB: Joyce took care of ordering the ink for the color printer today, so you can take this off your list.

Games on Board Room Computer

JB: Please make sure that all the games are installed and working on the computer that is in the board room.
